Film :: Current Projects

According to Dov S-S Simons, ask any Producer, Director or Writer in Hollywood what they're working on and they'll tell you the following nine words: "I have several projects in various stages of development." It is code for 'maybe I do and maybe I don't but I'm not going to chirp about them.' Probably a good idea. And it's true I do (most in the outlining and writing stage, just like everyone else).

But I'll mention four here...

There Are Hymns We Shout

This project is my lifelong dream of making a movie about my parents' love story. Which is insanely romantic. But that's all I can say here for now.

26 Reasons

This is an ongoing suite of 26 short films, each about a different emotion. I am working with four other artists on this project, Corena Chase, Greg Felden, Jonathan Green and David Dowling. We are using a list of emotions compiled by the Stoic philosophers (who, it turns out, were not at all stoic, in the modern lower case sense of the word).
