Brendan Hughes Creative Design
In August of 1996, I was rising through the ranks at a little theatre in Somerville, and the first thing it needed was a poster. My brother-in-law and roommate at the time, Bob Hamilton of Hamilton Hughes Design in Boston, showed me how to put words over pictures in Photoshop, and from there i began designing all of the collateral for the theatre. This then mushroomed into designing posters for many of the theatre companies in Boston in the late nineties (before heading off to grad school).
I continue this design work to this day, mostly because it uses an entirely different part of the brain than directing, lecturing and teaching.
